A story lands in a Space when it carries that Space's tag, so the same piece can live in more than one place.

Placements run from the masthead banner (the crown jewel, on every page) down through homepage and article slots and space-level banners. Founding rates are our lowest, locked-in launch pricing — an early advertiser holds their rate as prices rise later. An ad is paid promotion — a banner in a placement. A directory listing is a free (or Premium) entry in the Business Directory. A Certified Sip is an earned editorial endorsement you can't buy. Three different things; a business can have all three.

On the Advertise page you pick a slot, upload your creative, preview it, apply a discount code if you have one, and submit. That drops a pending campaign into our manager for a quick review before it runs.

Yes — discount codes, and prepay discounts for booking several months up front (for example, 10% off a 3-month prepay, 20% off six). Sip artists and authors: ask about creator pricing.

A placeholder is a house ad that fills an empty slot so it never looks bare — it carries no charge and a real booking replaces it immediately, no waiting. If a slot is already booked, you can join its waitlist and you're promoted automatically, first come first served, the moment it opens.

Each slot lists its recommended dimensions and a file-size limit (typically a few MB); images are cropped to fill the slot. The Advertise flow shows you a live preview before you submit.

A basic listing is free — name, category, region, a short blurb, and your website. Submit it through the directory form; an editor approves it before it appears.

The free listing is a compact card. A Premium listing ($25/year) is a full featured tile — bigger, with more room for your story, your links, and a spot in the Featured Businesses row.

Owners can self-select designations at sign-up so customers can filter for them in the directory sidebar. Customers and owners can also request a designation for a business, or suggest a new one, and an editor reviews it. (The full list and request flow are being finalized.)

The directory is for Mississippi businesses. A small number of out-of-state listings are accepted by approval; the form flags a non-MS address and asks you to acknowledge before continuing, and an editor reviews it.

Yes. Tutors can specify the ages and subjects they teach, and mental-health providers can specify their specialties, whether they see clients virtually or in person, and their license — providers must select the license they hold. (These intake options are being finalized.)

Reach out to the editor and we'll update or remove it. If an owner asks, we hand the listing over or take it down.

It's our endorsement of a business that treats people right — editorially vetted, not paid for. The seal on a listing or profile means we (and often the community) checked, and it stands up.

You can't buy it. Ads and Premium listings are paid; Certified Sip is earned. That's the whole point — the seal only means something because it isn't for sale.

Through the Certified Sip program in the (re)Views hub — a business can be nominated by the community, selected by customers, or self-certify to the standard, and we review. It's free.

Every Certified Sip profile has a report link. If a certified business falls short, tell us — the endorsement is only as good as our willingness to pull it.
